Marijuana Can Help Treat Epilepsy

Marijuana is usually used to treat pain or relieve nausea. But a new study found that marijuana can also help treat epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a brain disorder that causes individuals to have repeated seizures conditions. Seizures occur when clusters of nerve cells in the brain sends the wrong signal. People with epilepsy may have a unusual sensation or strange behavior.

According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of Reading, England, several compounds in the cannabis leaves have been proven effective in relieving the seizures of epilepsy.
