When talking about the risk of heart attack, generally men are considered more vulnerable than women. This assumption is quite reasonable, because at a certain age, men have more risk factors for cardiovascular problems.

One factor that causes men are more likely to have heart attack is the intake of salt. Generally, men consume more salt than women, and sodium in salt can increase blood pressure and risk of heart attack.
